Megan Nightingale, Doctor of Audiology has been serving the Kitsap and Jefferson county areas since 1990. An Audiologist for over 30 years, she and her team excel in providing very personalized hearing and tinnitus solutions. Dr. Nightingale has been an officer in several state and national professional organizations working with hearing and tinnitus issues over the years. “Having hearing and tinnitus issues myself, I have a very intimate knowledge and perspective of the problems people face when dealing with a hearing or tinnitus problem.” Our clients are like family. We pride ourselves on providing a home like, easy atmosphere in which to help our client with their hearing and tinnitus needs.

Dr. Lori Mercer earned her clinical doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, A.T. Still University, having previously been awarded a Master’s degree in Audiology from Washington State University. Prior to joining Peninsula Hearing, Dr. Mercer supervised graduate students at the University of Washington. She also owned and operated a private audiology practice in the greater Seattle area. She loves collaborating with patients to find personal hearing treatment solutions that lead to long-term, rewarding relationships. She has volunteered in rural Guatemala with Healing the Children, a non-profit organization that provides audiology care and hearing aids to children and adults in developing countries.

June has been a part time Audiologist at Peninsula Hearing since 2008. Prior to working at Peninsula she was a full time staff Audiologist in the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. “My interests and background include medical Audiology, tinnitus concerns and hearing instrument triage. I thoroughly enjoy my time with our clients, getting to know each of you and the ability to improve your communication on a daily basis.”

Elisa has been with Peninsula Hearing for fourteen years and a resident of Port Townsend since 1977. Elisa graduated in 2015 from one of the best rated schools in the nation for hearing aid specialists and did so at the top of her class. “I truly enjoy helping our clients with their hearing and communication issues. I get excited when I can talk with clients about how our ears and brain work together for hearing and understanding. I do what I do because every day brings a new opportunity to change someone’s life for the better. How could you ask for more than that?”

Matt has been with Peninsula Hearing since December of 2006 and has brought with him 25 years' experience in Human Resources, Customer Service, Communications and Training. “If there is one health issue that 90% of the time seems to sit on the back burner, it’s our hearing. If I can help the folks in our community to take care of their hearing as well as their teeth or eyes, then I have helped make a difference in their overall health. When people come to visit us and trust us with their hearing health they are going to find a staff that is warm, friendly, anxious to help and dare I say it, fun! “

Barbara joined the Peninsula Hearing team in 1998, initially as a receptionist. She has worked her way into the position of office manager and Audiology Assistant. Her background in engineering has helped her to smoothly run the lab and be an integral part of helping people get their hearing back. “I love what I do because at a very early age I used to enjoy walking in nature and identifying the sounds around me. Here at Peninsula, when we help someone hear better, my thoughts go back to those cherished memories. I am helping to reconnect our clients to those wonderful moments.”

Kathy has been with Peninsula Hearing since February 2017. She joined us as the Office Manager at our Port Townsend location. Kathy has many years of training and experience in management and what it means to provide excellent customer service to clients in a healthcare setting. One of Kathy’s favorite hobbies is spending time with her grandchildren.

Sue comes to Peninsula Hearing with an extensive customer service background. One of the best things about coming to work is the smiles on people’s faces when they are able to hear again. Her warm friendly smile greets clients when they come to the Poulsbo Office and her love of baking means there are often cookies to go with their cup of coffee. “I want folks to feel comfortable when they come into our office. Like they are visiting a good friend or family.”
